Sausage and Pepper Skewers

sage and Pepper Skewers-a quick and easy recipe that is perfect for grilling season! For the skewers, we like to use red, yellow, and orange peppers to add lots of color! The red onions are also a must. The skewers only take about 15 minutes to grill so this is a great recipe for busy weeknights or entertaining.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Soesari Rokerij Zwarte-Peper Kipworst, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 orange bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 large red onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Soak eight 8-inch wood skewers in water for 20 minutes. Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
  2. Thread sausage, peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating sausage, peppers, and onion.
  3. Brush skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Grill skewers, turning occasionally, until sausage is cooked through and peppers are blistered, about 13 to 15 minutes. Transfer skewers to a plate or platter and serve.
